Mission Inter Senegal (MIS)

Mission Inter Senegal was established in 1997 and is uniquely an entirely indigenous organization led by and staffed with Senegalese people.  It focuses its ministry on the rural interior of the country with a holistic approach combining Christian witness with service.  MIS plants new churches in rural villages while simultaneously doing community development, health care, agriculture and animal husbandry to help raise the socio-economic status in the lives of the villagers.  MIS collaborates with Christian congregations around the world through their Adopt-A-Village program.  These churches send service teams to adopted villages periodically to serve, share and care for the Senegalese;  determining how they can partner with the church and the village to thrive spiritually, socially and economically.
