Mission work is part of our DNA, and there are so many ways to spread the good news of Jesus and help people all over the world. We do this by partnering with life-giving organizations, supporting full-time missionaries, and by being the hands and feet of Jesus and traveling to do mission work abroad. Below are some of the ways we are working to further God’s kingdom around the globe. We hope that you will join us in this endeavor.

For the past 30 years we have supported the Good Shepherd Hospital through the Medical Benevolence Foundation. The mission committe votes annually on the amount to send to the hospital. Sarah Stranahan visits the hospital when she is in Congo for other mission activities. The last trip was June 2015.

When there is an international disaster we want to be able to respond immediately. A portion of the mission budget is earmarked so we can send funds promptly to a responsible agency like the Red Cross, World Vision, or Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
Each year the mission committee responds to worldwide and stateside disasters by voting on how much to send and where to send funds each year.
