What is the chief end of men and women?
To glorify God and to enjoy him forever.
—from the Westminster Catechism
Shepherd of the Hills is a congregation made up of men and women, young and old, who seek to follow Jesus Christ. As a part of following Jesus, we engage in five core practices that Jesus taught. As we live into these core practices, we glorify God and discover a deeper joy in life.
Worship is the first of the core practices. Each week we gather together to worship God as a community. At SHPC, worship gives us the opportunity learn from the scriptures, pray, share communion and sing God’s praises. We practice on Sundays what we want our whole lives to be: a community that glorifies God and enjoys him forever.
Whether you’re a seeker, or one who has been a Christ-follower for years, you are invited to join us on Sundays as we worship God with joy.
